SWBAT identify quilts and quilt-making materials and processes
SWBAT plan and create quilt block patterns
SWBAT explore crazy quilts and crazy quilt artists
SWBAT layer a variety of materials to create unique crazy quilts

Lesson Summary:

Needed Materials:

- Quilt block template (6x6 cardboard) 

- Fabric squares (2x2)

- Glue bottles

- Fabric triangles

- Decorative elements (buttons, ribbon, felt, foam, cardstock)

Early Finishers:

- Quilt block templates for magnet tiles

- Quilt boarders (8x8 construction paper)

- Oil pastels
