Mixed Media Installation

This ephemeral installation features projected videos of driving point-of-view footage, each representing a different state, with cardboard crosses hanging from the ceiling and walls covered in black-and-white family photos. Sam Cooke's "A Change Is Gonna Come" plays in the background, exploring the emotional journey of traveling to visit family and the longing and pain of separation.

Mixed Media Installation

This installation features an animated, multicolor sphere created in CAD software, projected onto two flat circular sheets suspended from the ceiling. The slow, meditative guitar loops in the background enhance the illusion that the flat circles are spherical, capturing two of the three-dimensional spheres.

Performance & Installation

In this installation, I created blue footprints on a tarp by walking in a circular motion through paint and recorded the performance from above. The tarp was left in the room, and a projector was installed to display a black-and-white video of the process in reverse. The video showed the room as the viewer entered and then reversed the evidence of how the work was created.

The objective was to recreate an element of a well-known classical art piece using a CAD program and 3D printing, showcasing the blend of traditional and modern art practices. I chose the church from Van Gogh's Starry Night, modeled it in Tinkercad, 3D printed it, and painted the surface with acrylics to mimic the original artwork.

his chop mark, designed as a simplified version of my signature, is intended for stamping into clay ceramic pieces. Created using Tinkercad and 3D printed, it merges makerspace technology with traditional ceramic techniques.
